About

BFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design, 2000.

From Nov. 2004-February 2006 I was the Production Manager of digital imaging in The Library of Congress’s Prints and Photographs Division.

While there I helped to finish digitize the Bain Collection, over 42,000 photographs (mostly glass plate negatives) ca. 1900-1931.

I have a website I built using html:
www.andreahackman.com

For the past year and a half I worked at a daily newspaper in Telluride, Colorado as a designer and photographer:
www.telluridedailyplanet.com

I look forward to this class, the material we’re covering will be invaluable!
